Summer Tour Schedule
Saturdays & Sundays. Noon-3PM.
Tours of the interior of the lighthouse are offered on weekend afternoons throughout the summer from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Summer tour schedule: Saturday and Sunday, noon-3 PM, except during the Between the Tides festival. Tours are led by volunteer docents and donations for tours are suggested. After the summer schedule ends, tours are available by appointment. Otherwise, the lighthouse is reserved for bed & breakfast guests.
Hudson River Valley Ramble
Saturday and Sunday, September 5th and 6th, 2009. Noon-3PM.
As part of the 10th Annual Hudson River Valley Ramble, the Saugerties Lighthouse is open for guided tours this weekend. No reservation required. Donations suggested. The Ramble offers Hikes and events throughout the Hudson River Valley for all four weekends in September. See official Ramble website for details: Ramble

Last day of scheduled tours of the interior of the lighthouse. After the summer schedule ends, tours are available by appointment only. Otherwise, the lighthouse interior is reserved for bed & breakfast guests.
Annual Membership Meeting
Saturday, September 12th, 2009. Noon-1PM.
Join the Saugerties Lighthouse Conservancy for the annual general meeting at the lighthouse. Meet the board of directors and executive officers. Get to know other members. Discuss pressing issues. Learn more about upcoming projects. Not a member? A great time to join! Stay after the meeting for the Discovery Day celebration.
Discovery Day
Saturday, September 12th, 2009. 1PM-3PM.
Henry Hudson first explored the river in September 1609. The SLC will celebrate this occasion at the lighthouse. Join the Lighthouse as we commemorate the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson's historic voyage. A local historian will describe Hudson's adventures and balladeer Linda Russell will entertain with "Songs of the Historic Hudson." Lighthouse tours will be available. Food and refreshments provided. Free and open to the public.
Between the Tides Festival 2010
Sunday afternoon, August 22nd. 2PM-7PM.
The Saugerties Lighthouse Conservancy announces their annual music festival at the lighthouse. The festival is a family-friendly, all-ages event that supports the continued preservation of the lighthouse. Celebrate the Hudson River and the historic Saugerties Lighthouse, a landmark of the Hudson River Valley. Enjoy live music, food, and drinks. The lighthouse is open for tours of the interior during the festival instead of the usual tour schedule on this day. The festival is scheduled "between the tides" so that the 1/2-mile trail to the lighthouse is passable throughout the event. NO PETS allowed during festival. Tickets go on sale on July 1. Advanced tickets: $20.00/person. Day of event: $25.00. Seniors $5.00 discount; children under 12 are free.
